Mark Dever serves as the senior pastor of Capitol Loma Baptist Church in Washington, DC. A Duke graduate, Mark holds a 1000.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, a Th.M. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Ecclesiastical History from Cambridge University. He is the president of 9Marks and has taught at a number of seminaries. Marker has authored several books and articles, most recently, Compelling Community, Baptist Foundations, The Gospel and Personal Evangelism, What is a Healthy Church?, and Ix Marks of a Salubrious Church. He and his wife Connie live and minister on Capitol Hill. They take two adult children.

Sinclair B. Ferguson is a native of Scotland and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Aberdeen. He was minister of two churches in Scotland, on the Island of Unst the most northerly of the Shetland Isles, and in St George'southward-Tron, in the eye of Glasgow, as well as serving in the USA at First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, S.C. In addition, he was for many years Professor of Systematic Theology at Westminster Seminary in Philadelphia and at Redeemer Seminary in Dallas. He is currently a Ligonier Teaching Fellow, Chancellor'south Professor of Systematic Theology at Reformed Seminary, and the Herrell Visiting Professor at Westminster Seminary, Philadelphia.
