With the recent increment in vehicle registration fees in California, information technology had me wondering what others are paying for their cars.
I only have ii cars for the wife and I...
2015 VW Protrude: $350
2013 Audi S7: $560That's barely over 900 for two cars and seems a little outrageous to me. Each car registration raised 110 dollars from final year.
What state do you live in and what are your annual registration fees?

Whoa, I know living expenses in Cali are loftier but, Damm, that'due south terrible. Non home to look at my fees only in N.J I have 3 cars. The 2017 RS7 IIRC maybe $lxxx. Wife'southward B9 A5 is charter not sure what is was, most probable they charge me for 3yrs up front. And my old '99 Malibu, lol, mayhap $45. Btw stay rubber if u are nearby the wildfires.

Unfortunately Colorado has a "Specific Buying Tax" added to the registration based on original MSRP which I was unaware of prior to moving. Oh well, live and learn.
2015 Audi S6: $688
2014 Audi SQ5: $302
It does go downwards each year and is only $iii after x years..which might explain why I see then many older cars out here.
Registration fees was one of the few things that was very reasonable in NJ but then once more we had roads that looked like the surface of the moon and the grand canyon had a baby and so maybe other states are onto something. :)FWIW I saw a Mclaren the other day. First year registration of that badboy would be north of $5000!

Almanac Vehicle Registration Fees (per state)?
Annual property revenue enhancement is $four.xx per $100 assessed value here in VA, I paid a total of about $2100 for the S6 and my wife�due south X3
Life is likewise brusque to drive boring cars.

Minnesota here. Their annual registration is tied to the original MSRP and goes downwards incrementally each year till the car is 10 years onetime and then it�s a flat fee for all.
My �17 S7 cost a little over $1k to annals when bought new. Second year was around $950.
My pre endemic �17 GLE63 cost around $1,100 to register for the 3rd yr of the cars historic period, my first yr of owning it
My �14 corvette cost effectually $350 to register for the 5th year of ownership. When new it cost over $700.
The real kick in the you know what for me, is that we already pay vi.five% sales tax when buying these cars and you lot do information technology upfront. And then on peak of that they keep to accuse you an arm and a leg each year. Reminds me of something called �luxury tax� that many developing earth countries impose on car buyers.

In GA, actual registration is $xx/year. Plus whatever added fee for vanity or special license plate.
Instead of a vehicle sales tax, we have an ad valorem title tax that is paid at time of buy of vehicle, based a calculated 'fair marketplace value'. Currently it is at 7%.
Earlier 2014(?) we had an almanac advertisement valorem tax and a sales tax on vehicles.

Seattle punishes car ownership. Gas prices in the urban center are up over California prices, think it's 4.2x range right now for premium. I'g happy I don't have a crazy commute, office is 4miles away.

For a typical plate in Louisiana I believe is $100 or and so and adept for 4yrs. For a personal plate I believe it was around $240, but only practiced for 2yrs.
Inspection sticker for 2yrs is $twenty.
